Yuran Chen is a Duke junior from Singapore studying public policy and Asian and Middle and Eastern Studies. For the past 7 months, he’s been able to combine both of these subjects into a research project that evaluates Chinese immigration through policy and narrative lenses. He’s particularly interested in using the power of nonfiction storytelling to let immigrants share their personal experiences. He is also currently serving as the President of Duke Mock Trial.
