Elizabeth Baltes is a Ph.D. candidate in ancient art and archaeology, who focuses on Classical and Hellenistic Greek sculpture. She is the recipient of the Archaeological Institute of America's 2014-15 Olivia James Traveling Fellowship. Her research interests lie at the intersection of sculpture, politics, and public space in the ancient world. In addition to her primary research interests, Elizabeth is also exploring the use of digital technologies to reconstruct and resituate ancient monuments in the built landscape. She received her BA in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2002.
