The event will take place on December 3, 2014 at 6pm in the Nasher Museum Auditorium.
In her residence at Duke, Welbon's project was to analyze, evaluate, record, catalog, document and find a safe and publicly accessible home for her Sisters in Cinema archive. Collected over two decades, the archive is among the largest collections of African American women’s media production in the United States.
